Coloring a Chandra sketch at Phoenix Comicon
After an incredibly long night last night, truer words were never spoken. Where’s my caffeine transfusion?
vereesa asked: hey tavis! are you going to have an artist's booth at phoenix comicon? i saw you're doing a panel with alex, but if i miss it, i'd still like a chance to meet you!
Yeah! I’ll be there all weekend. I’ll be in Artists Alley at the Thunderskull Press table, #1815. Hope to see you there :D
Here’s some concept sketches of a character known as The Witch of the Weeds from the next short story I’m working on.
I love this
Sketching Strip Search contestants tonight. I’d like to do something with these other than just ink/color them but not sure what.
Oh my gosh, these are lovely!
These are so good

Some Pixel Art I did this year. I need to get back into it, I can feel the rust setting in.
“What?!”
I don’t usually do the tumblrs, but when I do, it’s about StripSearch. Two of my favorite contestants after hearing that they’re awesome.
SAY WHA
(I love this. From Strip Search Episode 19)

I’ve been listening to the Mines of Madness podcast recently, and without a doubt Hug-Hug has hugged his way into my heart. Just goes to show that friendship was the true forever stone all along.
Old TMNT propaganda book circa 1991. On how Ninja Turtles were destroying civilized society.
My new dice bag from artist Tavis Maiden of Penny Arcade’s Strip Search fame.
Unfortunately (for those of you wanting such a bag), the copy I bought was the last one he had! Hopefully he’ll replenish his inventory soon, but in the meantime check out his webcomics at Thunderskull Press!
So glad these bags are being out to good use :D
Those dice are awesome!
This is in response to jestoon425, who asked for tips on drawing hairlines. I’m no hair expert though, this is just how I tend to think of it…
I’ve always been curious, but never really played D&D. Talking to a friend of mine the other day he encouraged me to just start by making a character (I do so love making characters). I ultimately decided on a Gnome Bard/Assassin.
